Watches have become a relatively recent collectible that is currently thriving, and prices are reflecting this. The traditional and ‘obvious’ makers such as Rolex, Omega, Breitling and Patek Phillipe are gaining competition in this market with more recent makers. Some of the modern limited editions are now also gaining recognition in this market. We have offered some rare watches in recent years, in particular a 1930’s Longines ‘Lindbergh’ edition, achieving £15,000 and a 1960’s Rolex GMT Master selling for £10,000. Military watches also continue to impress at auction.
