New at C&T: Militaria department update

Militaria Department Update

We are thrilled to welcome Mark Holden to the C&T team! Mark has assumed the new role of North of England representative.

With clients across the length and breath of the UK and beyond, we are confident that this will help us provide even more clients with a simple and straightforward route to auction success.

This comes just months after Vince Scopes was promoted to the role of militaria specialist, joining the ranks alongside our longstanding specialists Matthew Tredwen and Eddie Mayne. The recent growth of the Militaria Department reflects the current strength of the collecting market and C&T's growing presence in the international market.

About Mark:

Mark joined the C&T team in January 2026 after retiring from the Armed Forces. He has had a passion for militaria from his early teens when he was struck by the collecting bug while visiting the antique markets of London, Vienna and Berlin. While Mark’s particular interest is Great War Militaria he has owned collections of Third Reich uniforms and equipment and British Medals.

If you would like to discuss your collection with Mark, please contact: mark.holden@candtauctions.co.uk
