The Late Tony Hudson Collection

Ever since his teenage years, Tony was a keen collector of military items; finding anything from sweetheart brooches, medals, daggers, swords to almost full suits of armour. He had always been interested in military history and would often study campaigns from Roman military tactics to the war on the Eastern front. For many years he was a member of the North Cheshire Arms and Militaria Society, and liked nothing more than bringing an item down to discuss it in great detail over a cold pint. Visiting the local arms and antique fairs was also a great adventure for him, something which he tried to do on a regular basis. Tony sadly passed away in February after losing his own battle with myotonic dystrophy.

This fine collection made up of mostly edged weapons, headdress, awards and uniforms will be offered in two parts. The first part being offered in our 28th September auction. This will include mostly his edged weapon collection and items from his third reich collection.
