We run as an Online Only Auction House from our offices in Kenardington, near Ashford, in Kent.

Specialist Cataloguer & Valuer (Antique & Modern Jewellery)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Cataloguer and Valuer in Antique & Modern Jewellery to join our team. This is a full-time position, based in our offices in Kenardington (nr. Ashford) and remotely. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, friendly and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, amongst a growing team working to ever strengthen our position in this competitive market!
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support to the department in valuing, curating, cataloguing, and processing items for auction.
- Dealing with clients and assisting with department administration including email/telephone enquiries.
- Develop business contacts, opportunities, and developing sales strategies with Head of Department.
- Assisting in marketing efforts by providing key insights into auctions and providing information for press & marketing.
- Participate in events such as Exhibitions, Valuation Days, and other functions representing C&T.
Education:
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrable interest/knowledge in Antique & Modern Jewellery, or a willingness and ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Previous Auction House experience preferred!
- Must hold a full clean drivers licence & possess own transport due to rural location. (Free on-site parking).
Competitive salary: subject to experience.
